Ripete il successo di ieri Carlos Betancur nell'azione solitaria che lo ha portato sotto il traguardo di Cima Momntegrappa anticipando di 2'38" l'altro colombiano Edward Beltran e di 2'50" l'italiano della Palazzago, Gabriele Pizzaballa.
Affascinante il contesto della tappa nell'itinerario tra i tornanti in salita verso il traguardo in quota ai 1710 metri, in una giornata di ciclismo che ha richiamato all'epopea del ciclismo iniziando da Pozzoleone e dedicata alla memoria del grande Ottavio Bottecchia, primo italiano a vincere il Tour de France.
Appena abbassata la bandiera a scacchi la competizione si e' infiammata con attacchi sferrati sotto le imperverse condizioni atmosferiche continuate costantemente nel corso dei 184 Km interminabili, con i corridori che poi sono giunti al traguardo stremati dal freddo e dalla fatica in una teoria di distacchi sensibilissimi nella lotta per non uscire dal tempo massimo consentito.
Cima Montegrappa conferma Re del Giro Bio Carlos Betancur, scalatore dai lineamenti diversi dagli esili ed eleganti grimpeur del camoscio alla Lucio Errera oppure dallo stile fluido dell'Aquila di Toledo, Federico Martin Bahamontes. Brevilineo, dalla muscolatura possente e scolpita, Betancur predilige il forcing in salita fatto tutto di potenza. Cosi' il primo della classe ha sbalordito tutti sui tornanti del versante bellunese di Feltre, quando la corsa a tappe italiana portava alla sua Cima Coppi.
Nel bis colombiano decisamente incontrovertibile emergono anche gli scalatori italiani che riescono ad affacciarsi piu' nettamente. Un bravo davvero sincero a Pizzaballa, Zinardi e Santoro, punti infinitesimali tra gli alpeggi e i costoni di montagna grigio argento, sbucati dall'ultima curva appena sgombra dalla nebbia da poco spazzata via dal vento.
Domani il meritato riposo per tutta la carovana.

After some attack, seven racers take an advantage of 30", that are: Rocchetti-Busato-Boem-Nizzolo-Trentin-Zampedri-Tedeschi
Km 55:
The average speed after the first hour is 49,000 km/h. Nothing has been change respect to the previous notice
Km 67:
The situation is not change at this moment, the group all together but wheater is little bit better now
Km 95:
The average speed after two hours of race is 46,250 km/h
Km 120:
GPM of Passo San Boldo, first Rocchetti, 2nd Pizzaballa, 3rd Quintero Norena. The group loses 2'30"
Km 124:
Quintero Norena unfortunately fall down and loses some seconds from lead of the race
Km 130:
Now we have eight riders as lead of the race, that are: Busato - Trentin - Rocchetti - Tedeschi - Gawronski - Owsian - Pizzaballa and Boem. With 18" of delay following Quintero Norena and Zampedri. The first Group loses 2', but the group in real is very disgregate at this moment
Km 140:
Eight racers still again on the lead of the race, the two near following racers are Zampedri and Quintero Norena with 20" of delay. After 2' again we have three racers Girardini, Zuanon and Casarotto. The Group loses around 3'
Km 142:
Very hard wheater condition on top of the climb Montegrappa at this moment
Km 150:
Eight peoples with advantage of 37", on the first two following riders. The group loses around 3 minutes
Km 155:
The race now begin the last climb of the day to Montegrappa, unfortunately the link with our vehicles and correspondents on the race it's very hard at this moment the wheater is not good
Km 164:
Quintero Norena and Gabriele Pizzaballa now are the leading race. After 18" we have Piotr Gawronski, Lokasz Owsian, Matteo Busato and Federico Rocchetti. At 30" we have Nicola Boem. The delay of Matteo Trentin is 40". Derik Zampedri loses 1'10". Pawel Charucki loses 2'40" at this moment
Km 172:
Three racers as lead of the race, that are: Quintero Norena, Edward Beltran and Gabriele Pizzaballa
Km 176:
Betancur gather Beltran and Stefano Locatelli. Betancur attack immediately and leave these riders, now is the lead of the race with an advantage of 35"
Km 184:
The Winner is Betancur, 2nd Beltran with 2'38" of delay, that repeat the firsts two places of yeasterday, 3rd place for Pizzaballa at 2'50"
